My brother and I took a camping trip at the Mojave National Preserve in Eastern California and decided to make some videos for NPSurvival. Expect to see several videos be uploaded in the next couple of weeks. Also, I know it has been a long time since I have made any videos, hopefully I will be making many in the future, now that I have my own camera. The music is: Heart of Courage by Two Steps from Hell

For my dad’s birthday I want to organise a camping trip for me and him. I know of a good camping place that has cool activities we an do (mountain bike riding and bush walking), and I have all the gear we need. But I don’t have my licence (I have my L plates and am just doing my driving hours now). I asked him if he is free soon and he said he is next week and straight away offered to take me down south just to do my hours, which is kind of poo, because that was going to be my present to him :P
I want to make the trip a kind of surprise, and plan it all out so he doesn’t have to do anything, so it is more of a present. Any ideas on how I can do that? What can I give him at his party – a note thing saying what he has to pack and for when or something? It kind of gives it away, and the moutainbikes attached to the car? I could do the shopping and get the gear and put it in the boot of the car so he doesn’t see it, but it might be hard as the car is at his house. Any ideas for me?

Family of 4 driving from Seattle, looping Olympic National Park counter-clockwise on the 101 and ending at SEA-TAC. Can’t camp this time (not bringing camping gear), need hotels. Hotels w/i ONP seem booked. Traveling end of August (2009). Any suggestions on scheduling, what to see, where to stay would be great, never been to that area.

My friend invited me to go camping. (We only have two tents for ten people becuase that is the max amount for the pad) I’ve been camping with my cousins twice, but in a deluxe camper. I already am getting some OFF repelent clips, and some good bug spray. Besides a flashlight, what else should I bring?

Anything else do you think I’ll need?

I’m lucky that it’s civilsed camping – a cycling/camping holiday where I’ll be bused between different town & volunteer in regards to the catering.

So i won’t be need any toilet paper, but a spare garbage bag in case it rains is a good idea – and I better not forget the sunscreen!
