I will be camping shortly with 10 adults and 8 kids (5 families in all). Several of the families would like to cook on their own instead of with the group meals we have done in the past. The two new families to the group this year are the ones who don’t want to eat with the group. This has caused a lot of animosity. Is it normally better to do the meals as a group if we are all camping together? We have decided to just have each family bring and cook their own food. Is it right to tell them to bring their own cooking gear as well since we are not sharing?

This AM at 7:00 I saw 20 huge black birds in the same dead pine tree with wings held open ( just like a Hitchcock movie) Why do they do this? There was nothing dead in the area but we are next to a swampy woods area by a large lake.

i need help because i have a 70 litre backback, and i need my sleeping bag and pad inside it, so i need to know how to keep my clothes in a tiny space and organized. I also need to know hpw to best utilise the space in a tent for the most room. it is a 3 person tent with 2 people in it
