I am looking for a fun place to go camping with my husband this weekend no more than 3 hours outside of NYC. We would be bringing a tent to camp in. I would like somewhere that has great swimming, like a lake or river! Somewhere fun! We have a dog, that we will bring if she is allowed, but if not that’s ok too. Thanks for your help!
Someone gave me a flower basket and there are a few tall stalks in it but they arent bloomed…at least I dont think so..they have a bunch of finger like leaves that point up the stalk and at the very top there is a fat bud like thing ..its all layered like a little pine cone and there is a little black thing in each little layered piece…I am so sorry about this description but does anyone have a clue!? Also Im curious if they havent bloomed yet how can I keep them alive so they do..I just have them in water now…thanks
Ok…I figured it out…its a Leucadendron ‘Safari Sunset’ …but these are all green..there are no colored leaves on them…can they still bloom.?.the lady at the flower store said I can dry them..but I dont know anything about that.
We’re wanting to go out camping tonight, but the temperatures are supposed to drop down to abut 27F just before sunrise (it’s about 52F now at 4pm). Our sleeping bags are only rated for 40F, but could we add some extra blankets and keep the fire with some hot coals and sleep comfortably?

Three friends went on three different vactions first they went camping in the forest they brought sleeping bags, first aidkit, a lantirn, and a tent to sleep in. They went on a hike in the woods in the afternoon and went for a swim in the water. The day was nice and sunny with no clouds. When it was dark the cooked dinner and then went to bed in their sleeping bags and tents

The other day I learned that it’s not okay to masturbate on a camping trip. And I don’t care how slick you think you are no one can pull it off in a two person sleeping bag…I couldn’t. What I’m trying to say is if your a guy and you find yourself sharing a sleeping bag with another guy, don’t reach down for anything because there’s a one in two chance of making the same mistake I did.
