Thank you all for your concern, the area i live in was not hit at all, we heard all this from the news and if you look around it seems more dramatic on the news and internet . people here bought all the flashlights they could get their hands on but in total ( i mean after a drama like that ) the people are really bad prepared to deal with such an event ! That might sound cynical for some but the first thing i did was to rental a container ( comment of the rentall company was that if the container is done there wouldn`t be a city here neither !) , stuufed it with tent, sleeping bag tons of water clothing etc. be prepared !!! i have a go-bag in the car and another on next my entrance door , Japan is earthquake & tsunami area !!! The gov. officials run around like headless chickens and nothing happens for the poor who have no water /shelter etc. !!! But the media has a field day, who the f… is watching in the areas which were hit hu !? all that makes me real angry ! You can not avoid nature but you should be prepared for it ! Thanks for watching !

The 5.11 5 in 1 Tactical Parka is a great piece of outdoor gear. Great for the Law Enforcement Officer, or the avid outdoors man. $240.00 price range is something to consider but very versitle for a coat that can be used 5 different ways.
Break out the Tactical Solutions .22s and do some RunNGunning, Nutnfancy style… in a blizzard. Welcome to the “Snowblind Shoot” with Cr0cket20, Keith (CEO from TacSol), and myself. To say the conditions got tough is an understatement; mental toughness really helps as the temps plummet and the winds howl at 20+mph. This Snowblind course consisted of many www.shopactiontarget.com Evil Roy plates, a plate rack, and Hostage Target shot from various stages, out to 75 yds. But the bad weather provides an outstanding testing environment for the Tactical Solutions guns: a TNP Ruger 22/45 with Pac-Lite, Buckmark with Trail-Lite, Ruger 10/22 with X-Ring barrel, an X-Ring 10/22, a TSG-22 on various Glock 17 frames, and the AR-22 LT. For cross reference, the Smith and Wesson 15-22 also takes a few runs with me to see how it does as well. Most guns function well but jams happened. Keep in mind this is the world of rimfire: it’s rarely 100% and if you demand that, then you need to upgrade and pay the price of centerfire. Was it fun? Not really. It’s mostly a tough and grinding shoot where I do my best to get these guns tested under the harsh realities of snowy, cold weather. Unless you’ve shot this way (most have not and never will), please make any criticisms soft…it’s tougher than it looks, at least if you want to hit those targets. Add in time constraints that we’re dealing with and the amount of guns that needed running and the whole affair was tough to pull off. Sorry for the …
Sometimes you rock, sometimes you suck. Here friend and crew member PFIDude cleans the Actiontarget.com “Rimfire Dueling Tree” in proper fashion and brings home the gold in this impromptu warm-up session before running the Sledgehammer Drill. While I rocked the plates at the beginning, in the point-counting run here I was lacking in hits as my trigger presses were rushed…so embarrassing. Sometimes you’re the champ, sometimes the chump! More importantly however we are testing my latest modifications to one of my Ruger 22/45 Mk III pistols: a very cool and affordable grip mod, removal of magazine safety (with inclusion of Volquartsen Mk II hammer and bushing), and a superb Volquartsen trigger, Tactical Solutions Pac-Lite barrel in OD with compensator, and Bushnell TRS-25 red dot sight; all of which are running the first time on this particular frame. The resulting gun is a dream to shoot and is fast, reliable (apparently even with cheap bulk ammo), and accurate. Second kind of cool is off the charts as well. Here we attempt to give a proper demo of its capabilities. Again we see that high quality companies like Tactical Solutions and Volquartsen provide accessories that can elevate your Ruger to higher levels of cool and performance. More to follow!
Make your 10/22 into an M4. Yes, there’s been attempts at that already but I think the new Troy T-22 10/22 “Sport” Chassis is the best I’ve seen. Features are impressive: super lightweight (someone’s paying attention), trim handguard ala TRX, positionable rails, integrated flip-up sights, no flex (unlike some polymer options), single point sling attachment, and it takes AR-15 handgrips and buttstocks. The only detectable downside is the cost: it’s up there at around $300 retail. I suspect it will come out in desert tan colors as well as it takes off. Unlike the heavy 6.5 lb Ruger SR-22, the Troy T-22 gets the M4 mimicry correct and fulfills all the requirements for the Tactical .22 ( www.youtube.com ). TNPr James does a great job at hosting this Nutnfancy visit to Troy as we hit the details on the Troy lineup. The new Troy Alpha Battlerail is an upgraded TRX that fixes some of the strength issues they’ve identified. As I said in SHOT 2010, the TRX sets the industry standard in thinness, lightweight, and pointability and remains a competitor favorite. The VTAC version is similiar with elongated slots; I prefer the standard Troy with the circle milling. Battlerails and integrated chassis are also available for some surprising guns like the VZ-58 (shown, also DPMS LR-308, Mini-14 MCS, all xlnt but $$) and probably more will come out. Along with some sling and muzzle device discussion, we take a look at the Troy Ruger 22/45 Tactical (”Troy Mark III Covert Approach Pistol …
