Me and my friends want to try going camping in the wild with limited supplies:
– 1 Flint
– 3 Cans of any preserved food
– Sleeping Bag
– Tarp Tent
– Survival Knife

But we don’t know where we can go do this legally. Maybe a National Park or by a hiking trail?

and we live in Chicago, so somewhere close would be best.

PART 5 of 5: A complete series of videos by Nutnfancy and my friend chronicling firemaking in cold and snowy conditions using backpacking equipment only. The series shows the scenery, adventure, survival philosophy, gear observations, our standard joking around, and the good times with long time friend BuggetNuster (YouTube name) and Allie the Mountain Dog. We hiked into the snowy and cold Rocky Mountain bivouac location I had chosen earlier for my Wilderness Lean-To series of videos. A few shelter mods are discussed and shown but the focus of these vids is the making of the fire. I used few edits in the video making because I needed to demonstrate the work needed to create a sustainable fire in these conditions. I have found no shortcuts in the wood preparation for wilderness fire making. Several blades including the Ontario RTAK II, Ontario RAT-7, and KaBar Heavy Bowie are used to strip limbs and baton the logs into burnable pieces with the advantageous sharp edges. They performed exceptionally well in the outing and withstood some real tough use in 15ºF cold (shown of course!). The Sawvivor backpack saw again proved its worth as an accurate and indispensable wood cutter, lubricated with frequent sprays of WD-40. Fire tender used this time was Trioxane solid fuel cake and REI Stormproof matches. The resulting fire was quite manly and heated the Lean-To to incredible levels. We had planned to also build a fire reflector and maybe some other structures but as usual the

Review of the BCB Combat Survival Kit from workwearcanadacom

I am building a website to sell camping and survival gears, so I am looking for a store where I can purchase them with wholesale prices. I used to live at FL where they have a wholesale market (where you can find almost anything there), but I am not sure if there r any place like that near New York City…

Many thanks.

Thanks for the site, but I don’t think it’s useful for me.

I think that you never do business before. .. …
To Rose M:

hi Rose, if u do own a business that is related to buying products from wholesalers, u should know that a regular customer wouldnt or cannt buy from wholesalers for two reasons.
1. It requires a reseller/wholesale license in order to buy from wholesalers.
2. The reason that wholesalers can sell u the same item in a much cheaper price is that u need to buy the same item in large numbers. ( for example: 100), a regular customer is very unlikely to buy the same item in such large number even if it is cheaper (compare to retail ) per unit.

Rose, I am not trying to be mean, but may I know what business u own? I am trying to open a online store , but not sure what licenses do I need…(i guess that I need a business license, reseller license, State Tax ID….)

I live in New York City.

Thanks for yr answers n ttyl

There’s plenty of survival kits out there but we’ve never seen ones so well equipped as these two. These kits are built for hostile environments. Stick the Ultimate Kit in your backpack and hope you never have to use it! If you do, it has everything you need to survive in even the toughest spots. Alternatively, if you aren’t in need in something so hardcore but still lifesaving in an emergency, there’s also the Basic Kit. The Basic Kit’s mantra is: Stay prepared. Stay alive! It’s a wild world out there…

I am in kentucky I have found pine tea, cattail shoots, maple sap, dandelions , black Berry’s, mulberry’s and acorns what next?
