Hi all, we were out for a nice amble through the countryside and we came across this guy and his family with his (road type) 6×4 trailer full with camping gear trying to get down the slope that we were attempting to come up. It was raining and the track had turned into toboggan run. He had taken a wrong track and ended up in all sorts of trouble. When he tried to winch, his winch didn’t work, his tyres were suitable for the road and not this type of track, his recovery gear was at the bottom of his trailer etc…….. This is the full un-edited footage. Needless to say the damage to the 40 did not stop the 40 driving the rest of the track in 2WD high!!!. Well done schuttie. Well done to Trent on the videoing. As for the Disco, I got the trailer to the top of the track and a call was made to people who specialise in retrieving people who were not prepared to be there in the first place.

A quick run down the North Face slope holding my digital camera in video mode – the conditions were the best skiing in several years:)

I thought I’d take a video of myself going down the North Face slope. I forgot to put the camera’s wrist strap on. Fortunately, it was the old camera.
