im looking for a 4 season adult sleeping bag that can easily fit into the bag that it comes with (i find it hard too get my current one in to its bag and this is becoming a problem when i have too leave the camp site quickly because i have over slept, and it often hangs half out of the bag), it would also be nice if it was fairly compact and fitted in a small bag (as long as its easy to get it into this bag and quick to do so) and it is at a reasonable price. dose anyone know of a sleeping bag like this that they have personally used or been with someone that has used one, could you please post a link to a website so i can by it, please bear in mind i live in the UK and don’t want to pay a lot for shipping thanks.

I’m a novice climber, well I’ve climbed 2 minor and 1 major mountains based on the difficulty rating of the Philippines. Highest one I climbed is 1253+ MASL, which taught me the value of a warmer. The summit was also the camping ground, and during our stay we were caught be a storm. Our tent was swamped, and luckily my tent mate brought an “earth pad” which was really, just one of those things you use to cover your car’s windows. The roof of the tent was dripping, and the inclined ground we had allowed the creation of a small puddle on one side of the tent, but at least we had small island to sleep on for at least an hour or so before the wetness awakes us, all thanks to his “earth pad”
Now I was considering if I should buy a sleeping gear for my next climb? We’re making sure that there won’t be a storm anymore
. During my previous climbs, I am actually comfortable (or tired enough) that I can sleep on the floor of my tent without discomfort. So I want the opinion of others if it is an absolute must. Maybe it’ll rain again and I’ll be wet before I know it. Shall I buy just an earth pad? A sleeping bag? Nothing? A cute pillow
?
Note:
During our trips, I am the one to lug a 3-man tent (American spec, 5-man tent for us Filipinos ![]()
I have a 33L Jansport Cordillera backpack. It has a bottom strap which I know was designed for a sleeping bag but I managed to snug the tent I own. Of course, the last climb taught me that I should stuff the tent inside my bag.
Anyway, I wan’t something light, sleeping bag or earth pad. Something that can be folded into something very small. Any suggestions? + points if it can be found here in the Philippines.
I’m looking to acquire some good camping gear that will help me contend with the frequently rainy conditions around here. I hike light so I pack a hammock and parka/tarp instead of a tent which leaves no room for a sleeping bag. Are there any particular articles of clothing I could pack for camp use that would keep me warm and dry? I was thinking a winter parka and some ski pants might do the trick but that sounds like it may be a little too much. I guess what I’m ultimately aiming for is a “sleeping suit” if you will, to use with my hammock and tarp. Any suggestions?

Entry from: Milan, Italy Entry Title: “Sleeping Rough in Northern Italy” Entry: “Compared to the trip from Munich to Interlaken it was surprisingly easy to travel from Switzerland to Milan. And Italy was warm. It was the first real hot weather I had experienced on my so called Summer trip. My hostel was an awful Hostelling International prison that was really uncomfortable and had all these extra unnecessary rules. They’re always ****, but this place was the cheapest in Milan and I never learn. After checking in, I spent the rest of the day walking around central Milan seeing the Duomo and the Piazza. The problem I had with Milan is that it really isn’t much of a tourist town. Even Da Vinci’s Last Supper had a two week waiting list which i found ridiculous, and ultimately frustrating. I wonder what Da Vinci would think? Between all of my trips in Northern Italy I probably spent a total of five days in Milan, and shamefully that was more time than I had spent anywhere else on this trip. The problem was that I should have booked my flight to Copenhagen a couple of days earlier. I had based myself in Milan as a jumping off point for several places in Northern Italy. The first was Parco Nazionale Delle Cinque Terre. The Cinque Terre are five colourful town that sit on cliffs overlooking the …
I went camping with my mom last weekend up in the mountains and we slept in a single tent. While we were setting it up it started to rain really hard so we both got drenched. We finally finished it while its still raining and then we both only grabbed one sleeping bag out of the car and neither of us wanted to go grab the other one because were already in the tent. My mom told me that we should just sleep in the same bag together and I agreed. We were very cold because we were wet so my mom said to take my clothes and get in and she did the same thing. We got in naked together and it was awkward. We weren’t facing each other, she was in front of me so my erect penis was touching her ass while sleeping and I’m sure she felt it.
Was this incest?
