Good campsites (by good I mean cheap or even free)

I am 35 and single and dislike the stag night piss up scene.(but am still partial to a pint)

I thought I would be a bit old fashioned and just go there for week in early September and find out for myself, but the sensible devil on my back is trying to encourage me to plan..

Our two little brothers are coming also (at the direct request of our parents lol lol). As far as my and his parents are concerned they are just good friends. Unfortunately they are more than just good friends but are two gay boys who really “like” each other a lot. My husband knew even before me when his brother Michael told him that he “loved Shawnie”. At first he kept it from me but eventually I was told. This all happened before we got married and are now a happily married couple. These boys are much too young to be doing anything beyond what is appropriate for young teens who are hetereosexual ie hand holding and closed mouth kissing. The problem is that we cannot leave them alone in tent together at night (especially a cold night when they might want to cuddle for warmth (as my husband and I want to do) which could lead somewhere where they should not go. So what do we do? Separate them and sleep with our respective brother. We’ve been to this campground before as bf/gf and the people who run it will be happy to find out we are now married and we are expecting a wonderful addition to our family. We went there last New Years and they had a party for all the people who were in the campground and it was a lot of fun. We have cold weather gear, two tents and two space heaters (approved for camping so they don’t leak gas or use up all the oxygen in the tent plus we will keep a small opening in both tents to keep fresh air coming in). The boys are still deeply in the closet with the two sets of parents and we revealed that we will not be the ones to inform our parents. Also I’m hoping that its just a passing fancy and as they get older they will be “into girls” like normal boys. Both are too good looking not to like girls.

I go to camp every summer for a month, i am 14. What normally happens is the firsr few nights i lay wide awake in bed all night not beong able to sleep which makes me feel sick and get homesick. I am wondering if anyone knows about some good sleeping pills that children can take, because if im not able to sleep i just want to be able to have a pill in my sleeping bag that i can quickly take. Even tho im a teenager i still take kids pills but i want one now because i dont want to risk any side effects because u r normally supposed to bring medecation to the nurse but that will be embarrassing having to go every night for the first couple nights just to get it! I would greatly appreciate any suggestions!!!

This is a field test/review of the Big Agnes Hogan Park Sleeping Bag System. I choose to call it a system as it is designed to integrate an inflatable sleeping pad, such as my Thermarest into the design. The weight savings due to adding no fill to the bottom of the bag makes sense here, allowing the bag to offer superb temperature ratings while keeping both weight and bulk down. This oversized bag is perfect for the larger person or anyone that feels too constricted by a mummy style bag. A great feature is the ability to roll inside the bag vs with it, keeping the sleeper on the sleeping pad throughout the night.

I’m going to camp this summer for a month and I am wondering if I should “break in” my new sleeping bag before I go. Would that make it more comfortable or does it not matter? I have only slept in it once since I got it for Christmas. I’m really excited about this sleeping bag because the last time I got a new sleeping bag, I was in first grade (in the fall, I am going to be a senior).
I have been camping hundreds of times. I’m just not sure about the new sleeping bag because I have had my old one for such a long time (11 years). My old one was a good sleeping bag too, it wasn’t like a “My Little Pony” bag.
