We are planning on going on camping this weekend and looking for a place where we can drive, we can have our dog with us, and there are easy hiking trails( where dogs allowed) and maybe a lake??
I’m trying to find a camp site for tent set up to spend a few night that has enough distance between sites to feel secluded, and not have all the park or resort extras. I want to do some old fashion camping, tent, fire, don’t mind a port a potty though and okay with a walk to it, away from others just me and a couple friends to hang without being bothered?

I am looking for a secluded camping area that I can reach by jeep in the north Georgia area for a little tent camping. Doesn’t have to be miles away from anything, I just don’t want to be in a crowded site full of RV’s. Any suggestions?
