Now available at www.outdoorplay.com – Built for the adventurer who wants to travel fast and lite, the Sprite 1 Camping Tent assembles down small and weighs just about nothing. Solo backpacker’s along with cyclist rave about how lightweight the one person tent is. There is plenty of room with a large front vestibule providing extra storage space. Another great feature added on by the Mountain Hardwear master product designers is the durable Atlas 7001 poles. These poles are extremely strong and can withstand any high winds. As well the MHW team rain room tested each tent with 1200″ of rain in 24 hours. You can be guaranteed that no rain is coming inside.
www.webtogs.co.uk The Lifesystems Mountain lite Whistle is made from Lexan Polycarbonate. This whistle is an essential piece of signalling kit which is perfect in sub-zero conditions. It is also extremely lightweight. A whistle can be used to alert people if you are in distress. The internationally recognised distress signal is 6 blasts of the whistle with a 1 minute break and then repeated. The reply is 3 blasts with the same pause. Loudness: 108 dB. My review of Mountain House ‘Wraps’ Chicken Salad “Chunks of creamy chicken with red onions, cranberries, and pumpkin seeds”. I was pretty hungry when I made this and filled two pretty decent sized tortillas, and I feel pretty satisfied. I think some sort of protein bar would just be perfect to top it all off (or maybe a Mt House freeze dried ice cream sandwich). All in all I give this a 4.5 out of 5 stars! At one point (maybe more) during the video I made the mistake of saying almonds, but they were infact pumpkin seeds. – Also – you must supply your own tortillas! Thanks for watching! mountain-mama.com Teresa Delfin, CEO of Mountain Mama, is a natural mama just like us. An avid outdoorswoman, she was inspired to start her company when she realized that there weren’t any brands out there that provided functional and stylish clothes for active woman. I love Mountain Mama’s tagline “Adventure doesn’t end with pregnancy… it’s just beginning.” Teresa sent me one of her Whitney Maternity V-Neck tops and I’m loving it. The shirt allows you to breath, but also keeps you warm due to her patented materials. She also designs her clothing to grow with you if/when you are pregnant, which may come in handy in the future
Best of all, her clothes are manufactured right here in the USA. If you’re the outdoorsy type, visit mountain-mama.com to support a fellow natural mama.
Would you leave your toasty sleeping bag and trudge though the snow to find a place to poop?
True story
Or just suffer the intestinal cramps?
Okay, Chicki, it’s hard enough to spell the word, so cut me some slack. You know, sometimes you just don’t bother with the spell check. Reckless and crazy, I know, but that’s the way it goes.
