In this 2 part series, I discuss the components of a comprehensive, four season lightweight backpacking sleep system which can be tailored for a variety of weather conditions. This is my approach which gives me the flexibility to do everything from cold weather, lightweight backpacking trips, to summer ultra lightweight hiking trips. This system includes: synthetic sleeping bag, sleeping pad (closed-cell foam), fleece sleeping bag liners, and even a neat little trick I picked up along the way.

I’m thinking about going into more of a maneuverable set, ditching my Echo 1 M4 for something much lighter and more compact. For my M4 loadout, my KJW KP07 GBB 1911 was my sidearm, but I decided to try using it as my primary during a couple airsoft matches recently, and fell in love with the advantages of speed and maneuverability I had over everyone else on the (large, outdoor) field with my significantly lighter/smaller gear. I’m currently looking for something (preferably gas powered, but will look into electric as well) of a similar caliber that has full auto capabilities and is lightweight, so I can retain some firepower and possibly dual wield with my GBB. I’d love if it were gas powered, as the intimidation and awesomeness factors of GBB weapons in battle are held in high regard. I’ve chased away friends with high end AEGs with my KP07 :) . My budget is about $150, but I’m willing to push up a bit provided I find the right product. Thanks to all who post suggestions!

- I’ve researched the KWA KMP9s and MP7, and while I love both models (especially the MP7), they’re a bit out of my price range, plus you currently (to my knowledge) can’t purchase any extra mags or parts for the KMP9s yet, which is kind of an issue seeing as you can empty the entire magazine in 2-3 seconds on full auto.

- I’m giving some thought to the KWA NS2 GBB M11A1; however, I’ve read they have some notable issues with jamming, on multiple accounts, not to mention just about everyone says the accuracy is sub-par, even for an airsoft gun of that size. Anyone have experience with this gun?

Thanks in advance to all!

www.webtogs.co.uk The Keen Voyageur mid boot and shoe share the same heritage as the Keen Targhee II. In this video we look at what makes them such a great piece of footwear for summer, while we do that, lets also lay out the facts about them too! The Voyageur boot and shoe from Keen, like its cousin the Targhee II , is a rugged cruiser, but with its windows down for ventilation. Stripped of its waterproof barrier in favour of mesh lining, the Voyageur Mid allows for more ventilation on hot summer days. The aggressive outsole has 4mm lugs to bite into the terrain, providing excellent traction while the ESS shank provides torsional stability for a secure ride from valley to mountaintop. This walking boot & shoe is the first choice for those looking to cool their feet whilst getting good grip to the mountains.
