My boyfriend and I live in the Philadelphia suburbs. We are looking for a cheap camping getaway this weekend. We plan to camp in a tent, both because we want to and because it will cut down on costs. Can someone recommend a good campsite within two hours of Philadelphia that is 1. not expensive. 2. near entertaining things to do (hiking, boulder fields, fishing, etc).
Thanks so much for your help!

I want to take her some place secluded and away from everything. She has never gone fishing and she wants to go this weekend. She also loves the outdoors with all of the trees and wildlife. So if you know of any place where we can pitch a tent and set up a little grill, that is away from traffic and the rest of the world, please let me know.

need one for:
hiking, camping, canoe camping, for a maximum of 3 days, mostly 1-2 days, though.
i don’t do any of that camping where you drive your car to the camp site, so i would need a backpack that can haul all my gear.
i live in Florida and don’t go out of state much.
prefer something with a hydration bladder and no more than $150, prefer $50-$100.

I would love to go camping with a tent somewhere in norther or central California. I certainly don’t want to camp along the coast. Anybody know a good place to go where you can swim and use a jet ski?
Me and a couple of my friends are planning a camping trip in about a month. I’m pretty experienced in day hiking and camping, but I’ve never actually been on a trip where I’ve had to carry my gear more than a mile.
We’re looking for a place in northern New Mexico or southern Colorado with fairly easy trails. We’re trying to stay away from crowded campsites.
