Within 3 hours drive of New York City, on or near a lake, where every other tent is NOT shoved up right next to you, (somewhat more private camping) and that takes pets? Thank you so much!
I want to go camping with my family but I am not familiar with any places in san diego or somewhere near by the colorado river in arizona that i can go camping. I’m looking for a place that’s fun, hiking, tents and/or cabin facilities, somewhere where they have rivers or some kind of water. Can someone recommend some really nice place to go camping ?
A big group of us is going camping next month. The girls and guys will each have separate tents, so I was looking for some ideas on what we can do to prank the guys.
I want it to be something harmless, but still really funny.
Got anything good?

So if you know of any camping sites where they have amenities such as showers, toilets and grills…and they allow tents inform me please. thanks!

I’m trying to find a place near me to go tent camping. I’d like to find somewhere that is free or cheap (since i’m a college student and therefore broke, lol) and preferably not crowded. Can anyone give me any ideas for where to start looking? I live in the Charlotte, NC area.
I also have a friend that would like to come along but she gets nauseous if she sleeps on the ground. Can anyone recommend a good air mattress or maybe a cot type… umm… thing? : ) ty!
My friends and I would like to go on a camping trip this summer. We are picturing canoeing down a river and camping in a tent on the shore in like a forest I guess. We want the river to be very easy to navigate with no danger possible. We live in Kansas and don’t want to drive more than 7 hours; we were thinking somewhere in Arkansas or South or North Dakota. Any suggestions or tips? Thanks
I want to go camping along the Gulf Coast but the humidity is outrageous. So I started my search for an alternative to spending thousands of dollars on a pop-up camper with an air conditioner. I am willing to invest a few hundred bucks in a portable tent air conditioner if it works… Any suggestions ideas???
So far I have found
