We are doing this more often!

I’ve never been to a football camp or any other camp before in my life so tomorrow I am going for the first time but I don’t know what or how much stuff to bring with me. I arrive at camp Friday evening then stay all of Saturday and Sunday morning and then return Sunday evening. Also most importantly, should I bring a sleeping bag or will there most likely be beds already there?

Other than the 40 yd dash and the vertical leap and I would imagine some kind of strength/endurance test(s), I don’t know what kind of testing is done at the pro football combine camps.
It seems to me that whatever testing the applicants are put through, the testing should be done in full pro football gear.
IMO, testing the applicant in full pro football gear would give a more accurate representation of what the applicant is able to do.

Ohio State and the 12 Best Places to Tailgate for College Football Games
There are fans of some schools—most notably the SEC programs—who have made tailgating an art. Specialty foods, cornhole and Jackorades (think Jack Daniels and Gatorade) can help almost anyone get ready for the big game. But have you ever thought about the best locations for tailgating? Ohio State is a great place to fire up a grill, but if you had to pick the best location outside Ohio Stadium …

^ ouch. that was harsh. Sorrry Lions fans :P

But on a more serious note, I cannot disagree more with the NFL’s decision to play the Vikings-Giants game in Detroit. It’s like they sided with the Giants 100%. I mean, first of all, Minnesota loses a home game. Secondly, the NFL stated they wanted the game in Detroit because the Fox cameras are already there. Well, they’re already in Minnesota too! Why not just move them to TCF Bank Stadium? (University of Minnesota). Then the NFL said that Minnesota would lose spectators this way. I’d rather imagine fans in Minnesota would take the 10,000 capacity hit then a 50,000 capacity hit by going to Detroit. I mean how many fans are going to make that trip? Lastly, the NFL stated that the Giants couldn’t play outdoors due to a lack of outdoor gear, which really proves my point. The NFL is willing to cancel out a home game in MN because the Giants don’t have any freaking jackets? Is it really that hard to send out a plane with gear in 2 days?
In short, I really question the NFL and hope they take this into future consideration.
and again, Lions fans, I apologize, but you have to realize it’s true :P
@lolcloc88 the blizzard was yesterday. have you seen how clear the sky was on ESPN this morning.

@88 exactly my point. All of the Lions fans will be cheering against us too.
