My boyfriend and I live in the Philadelphia suburbs. We are looking for a cheap camping getaway this weekend. We plan to camp in a tent, both because we want to and because it will cut down on costs. Can someone recommend a good campsite within two hours of Philadelphia that is 1. not expensive. 2. near entertaining things to do (hiking, boulder fields, fishing, etc).
Thanks so much for your help!
A friend gave me a Sears Tent about 5 to 6 man but no instructions. I found a Tag on the inside of the tent giving the ground dimensions 8′2″ x 10′21″ it also tells about the fabric the tent was made out of with these numbers:
77183 094 7718 300 RN46406
No 87720
One thing that is confussing is that it has 2 straight poles with U shaped tubeing attached on one end.
It has heavy Loops on outside top center of the tent.
I just bought a bunch of camping gear and noticed I need 16.4-oz. propane cylinders for most of my stuff, where can I get a good price on them I’m in California if that helps.
I want to find truffles in the woods. I hear we have the Oregon white and black ones under Douglas Fir forests. I only have white pines so has anyone out there ever found one in Maryland. IF so what kind and who will buy them from me if I do?

I think it aired on NBC. The insurance company would scam poor black old people into buying burial insurance because they knew they couldn’t make the payments and would just pocket the cash. The star of the movie was a guy who got into this business and learned of the scam, befriended a old black woman who wanted a beautiful funeral. He lost touch with her, and she lost the policy and he found out she was just put in a pine box with no funeral and felt so guilty he quit and I think started a scholarship in her name.
Hope that helps, I believe it was in 1997 possibly on NBC made for tv movie. I havent seen it since it aired. Thanks.
I currently have an old Eureka Mighty Might canister. I don’t have rugs, just all hard wood or tile floors. It has to be another canister style, since I’m in an apartment and don’t have room for a big stand up vacuum. It goes without saying, it must be able to suck up dog hair.
