my reports due this friday.
plz help me and give me some info(:
thanx so much.
the direction the fighter jets came from the closest possible miltary base is over 3oo miles away. the chinook helicopter came from a different area all together and went a different direction. we never hardly ever see military aircraft let alone two days in a row. never happened here that i know of. so i was just wondering if it was a huge coincidence or if there was something up. when i first seen the jets they were 3 of em close together in a diagonal as they flew over my house very loudly. then a few min later they had turned around and quit a bit of distance between each one as they headed back to the direction they came from. can anyone tell me what they are doing?? pretty sure nothing is up just curious.
What can you tell me about the Chinook?
Would you say the quiz was accurate?
What other breeds might be good for us?
Family: We are young in our late 20s and we have a young daughter (she will be between 3 and 5 when we get the dog), we have 2 dogs currently.
Living: Soon to move into our house. We have a medium size yard and a small-medium size house.
Exercise: Able to to dedicate two walks a day to the dog (about an hour long each) and plenty of offleash play time in the yard.
Dog will be an indoor/outdoor dog. (basically lives indoors but will have plenty of time outside when wanted)
Grooming: A good bath and brush and on your way kind of dog. (Nothing requiring a trip to the groomer)
Any other questions feel free to ask
Thanks

They were colonised by John Jacob Astor and the Pacific Fur Company. What happenned from there on?
Actually I’m starting from Sunmer and intend to take WA 410, the Chinook Pass. How long do you think a hiker would take to get there? I can’t compute the miles and obviously it’s mountainous. Hyw 410 follows a river all the way (google earth) so I figure I can camp along the way without having to carry it as one does in the desert. Since it’s a tourist route I assume I won’t die of starvation
Yup, I’m taking a walkabout, got 3 weeks to kill and need to get out of the city. Yes I am experienced hiker. Just can’t figure out how far it is. Thanks
Thanks PIKA ! But I have to tell you that any bunnies in my path are fair game
OK, I don’t really expect to make it “there and back again” but when half my 3 weeks expires I’ll turn around and come back, having had a fine adventure. Just hoping to figure out what that turnaround point might be (or if I can reach the mountain !!)
It’s not the destination, but the journey. Still, some facts would be helpful. Anyone ever been over Chinook Pass? I know it’s always closed in winter and they don’t allow big trucks, so it might be quiet.
One January morning, a warm chinook wind rapidly raised the temperature in Spearfish, South Dakota, from below freezing to +13.2° C. As the chinook died away, the temperature fell to -19.8° C in 27.3 minutes. Suppose that a(n) 20-m aluminum flagpole were subjected to this temperature change. Find the average speed at which its height would decrease, assuming the flagpole responded instantaneously to the changing temperature.
