I want to go camping with my family but I am not familiar with any places in san diego or somewhere near by the colorado river in arizona that i can go camping. I’m looking for a place that’s fun, hiking, tents and/or cabin facilities, somewhere where they have rivers or some kind of water. Can someone recommend some really nice place to go camping ?
We are planning on camping at the end of June (tents) two adults two children… We have checked into some National park camping, but they charge $15-$80 to enter the forest for only 7 days or year membership and then charge again up to $20.00 a night for a tent sight. You are then placed in a sight of their choice… Also due to heavy rains last Fall, many of the popular attractions in these camping areas are off limits or heavily damaged. We don’t want to pay a lot just to enter the park then get stuck in some undesireable camp sight. We normally are very outgoing and content, very easy to please but under these circumstances we feel poorly. Now we are seeking a free or cheap, family camping area in the mid to NW Washington state area that won’t require us to pay the price of The Hilton and offer us over crowding and lacking things for young children to do. Thank you for any kind suggestions you may have! Happy Summer to you!
A big group of us is going camping next month. The girls and guys will each have separate tents, so I was looking for some ideas on what we can do to prank the guys.
I want it to be something harmless, but still really funny.
Got anything good?
Thanks!
I want to go camping with a bunch of my friends near or on a beach site. I was thinking Santa Barabara or Pismo beach but most of them say that it is RV only. So if you know of any camping sites where they have amenities such as showers, toilets and grills…and they allow tents inform me please. thanks!

There are bathrooms (no porter potties) but I dont know if i should wear them
Reports say anything from a 30% chance to a 50% chance of rain/isolated storms off and on basically all day.
We are only planning on going for 2 nights, and the place is less than 2 hours away.
Should we call it off, wait it out and decide later in the day tomorrow, or just go for it?
Ive been looking online at nearby areas to go camping (northeast ohio) Ive found a couple private family campgrounds…They seem like they have alot to offer. But I have also found state park camping…Whats the difference? Would one be better than the other? We wanna go tent camping with our two little kids.
