My boyfriend and I are going camping in a couple of weeks. We have all the basics – tent, sleeping bags, air mattress, torch, esky. It will be at a camp ground so there will be a BBQ there, but what else could we need that we may not think of?
I’m in Australia – not too much need for warmth at the moment, we’ve got more than enough!!

If you are going camping in November, what things should be packed for this time of the year and weather conditions?
I’m sorry if this is a dumb question but, I’ve honestly never been camping and I was wondering what types of equipment would be needed. (I know sleeping bags, but what kind?, thermal ones? or is that too warm?)
Please be as DETAILED AS POSSIBLE!
Thanks

My fiancee and I put a date to go camping the weekend of March 2, in Idywild mountains, a little camp ground called lake hemet. Its probley going to get pretty cold at night, but should be kinda nice during the day! So please help me put a list together, mabey even some easy dinners. I have been camping before, but with my family, its our first time going, and being responsible, for everything we will need!

Thank you!

I would like to purchase a family camping tent for my husband and kids – only problem, I don’t know ANYTHING about camping! I know I would like a 2 or 3 room tent, but I would like to be able to stand up in the side rooms. Some of the tents I have looked at it appears that you must “crawl” into the side tents. Is this a common thing? Also what do you suggest I purchase as necessities along with the tent? Sleeping bags, cots, stove? Any help is greatly appreciated, again I have never in my life camped so this is completely new to me.

What are some things that you find essential for camping? Things that you don’t leave home without???
