Please help us, in knowing the differences and condition between California one another, tent camping campgrounds. We would like near river for kids to fish, in California. Please any reviews, experiences or thoughts, thank you.

i want to go camping before the summer ends where is a good safe place to go camping where everything could be outdoor (tents, portable stoves, etc) and it includes lake/beach swimming areas? anywhere in southern california towards Arizona/California-california/baja califonia etc

Me and my friends are looking for a place to go camping for spring break that has fishing, jet ski rentals, boat rentals, hiking, mountain biking, tent camping and other possible things. Must be in CAlifornia or NEvada or ARizona.

We are looking for a spot you can camp right on the waters edge (prefer a river) in California with lots of trees all around. No ‘walk in’ sites as we have three small children. Something that has a designated camping site with a fire ring, picnic table, and restrooms at the campground. Pet friendly would be a plus:) Thanks in advance!

I would love to go camping with a tent somewhere in norther or central California. I certainly don’t want to camp along the coast. Anybody know a good place to go where you can swim and use a jet ski?

We are both unemployed and would love to still get out of town for a week-end. I’m not very interested in going into the heat during the summer or sharing my tent/sleeping bag with any critters but if we could find something free, maybe I would find a way to deal!!!

My friend and I are going on a weekend trip to Eureka, CA (we live in Sacramento) next weekend. I definitely want to check out the redwoods, obviously. What are some things I want to make sure not to miss while I’m up there?

Thanks.

I want to start backpacking around california with my friends in a couple of months. What gear do I need? Can I just go to any national park and camp there or do you need a permit?

I recently dicovered that Eureka, California is pretty affordable to live in for an average, middle class family. The taxes there are cheaper than the rest of California. What other cities are more affordable than Eureka in California? I live in Ohio, so I hope anyone who knows anything about California will help me out.
I didn’t know what category to put this in, so it ended up in the Travel category.
