Like David Lee Roth, here’s a singer with an unexpectedly huge range! Gibbons, who has sung for ZZ Top and the Moving Sidewalks, is a low baritone (AKA a bass) who reaches some VERY low notes, but also pushes himself up to the fifth octave! He often sings in the fourth octave, though highs in a melody are rare and usually done as ad-libs. 1. 0:00 – B1s from “Crunchy”. 2. 0:10 – A signature Gibbons note: a breathy “yeah” at B1. From “I Need You Tonight” live. 3. 0:11- Speaking down to B1 at the beginning of “Dirty Dog”, with a short vocal fry E1. 4. 0:13 – A whispered B1 line from a cover of Herman Hupfeld’s “As Time Goes By”. 5. 0:22 – Speaking down to B1 from “Blue Jeans Blues” live in Toronto 2000. 6. 0:26 – A different “Blue Jeans Blues” performance, where the passage bottoms at B♭1 and is followed by a non-modal A5. 7. 0:32 – Low singing from the “Ten Foot Pole” verse, bottoming at B♭1. 8. 0:55 – A spoken passage from “My Mind Is Gone”, touching B♭1. 9. 1:00 – A countdown to B♭1 in full voice and E1 in fry from the “Goin’ So Good” intro. 10. 1:05 – A spoken passage around B♭1 from “Lovething”. 11. 1:08 – The same passage live, with a slide to A1. 12. 1:11 – A1 talk-singing from “Tramp”. 13. 1:31 – The classic D2s from “La Grange” with a dip to A1 in this performance. 14. 1:37 – An A1 from “Dreadmonboogaloo”, which echoes at lower pitches. 15. 1:40 – Some very Barry White-esque lows from “As Time Goes By”, bottoming at A1, with a non-modal D6 too! 16. 2:00 – Back

We are looking to know how far swimming & such is from the camping areas. There are 2 campgrounds, Crooked River Campground & Deschutes Campground. Tell us what you know, please :)

My friends and i would love to go camping at lake Billy Chinook this summer! The only problem is that we don’t really know where to start. If anyone knows of websites that could give us information about what they have at the campgrounds, swimming, pricing, reservations etc. that would be fantastic!

Other camp sites are fine too if they around the area! :)

Thanks SO much for your help!
