Part 106. The Final Battle for Hoover Dam Begins (Eureka!) I’m now fully loaded for the final battle at Hoover Dam. Armed with plenty of rifles, energy weapons, explosives, and projectiles, I head to Hoover Dam with Ed-E and Boone. I sleep for 8 hours to get the “well-rested” bonus, then I tell Colonel Moore that I’m ready to report to General Oliver. I get whisked away to his office on the other side of the dam, and he thanks me for my contributions thus far, which levels me up! I choose the Concentrated Fire perk which gives me to-hit bonuses in VATS Then, we discover that Legionnairs broke through intake tunnels around the dam, so I have to do two things: Stop the Legionnaires from pouring into the power station through the tunnels, then head over the top of the dam to the Legate’s camp where the Legion is orchestrating this attack. And so it begins! I need to find the overflow control terminal so that I can turn on the turbines in the intake tunnels to stop the all the Legionnaires from slipping through (and turn them into mincemeat too). I begin at Power Plant 04, where Legionnaires plop right into the entrance. The NCR, the Brotherhood, and I all end their lives, and I loot them. Then, another party spills out of another tunnel, and we flatten them! I head into Power Plant 03, and again we face another detachment of Legionnaires. We start losing a few NCR soldiers, but we terminate this detachment too. I’m surprised by a second attack, and I’m caught off guard, oh …
