Any suggestions/recommendations on sites where one could set up a tent for a weekend. Somewhere with nice scenery and a little bit of history but not too far from the city center. I took a look at some websites but there’s just too much to choose from. I’m hoping for some suggestions to narrow down my choices.

There is about 15 of us and we want a nice place, it must be by the waterfront, where we can just put up our tents, enjoy the water and nature in general. We would alos like a place with no curfew or alcohol restrictions. We are not heavy drinkers but we are celebrating 2 birthdays… Can anyone help me pleaseeeee
What are some good areas that are suitable for tent camping in the San Francisco area? (Sometime in April.)
We’re looking at a VERY long trip across the country using our minivan and tent (as is our family tradition). But a friend has offered to let us use his popup trailer. Will campgrounds charge us more because we’re using a trailer (vehicle plus trailer v. tent)? Will we be placed with RVs (and their nice generators) or with tents or…?
We’re passing through there next week on a trip and thought we might stop and camp to break up the drive a bit. Anyone know of any good places to camp?

We are needing to find a reception venue as cheap as possible in MO area. We are getting married September 10th, 2011! We would like to keep it under a 1000 if possible… And we would like to get as close to Eureka MO as possible.. If anyone has any ideas let me know please!!!!!
What coyote call works best in the South Dakota area (not the Black Hills, the hilly terrain areas with canyons every so often like in the Pine Ridge area)? Any suggestions?
I promised to take my best friend camping with our tents tomorrow and I didnt even think to see if lake alpine has openings for tents…she loves to fish and its her birthday, But we cant leave till nightime. I live in Stockton , CA can someone help
