It was an exceptionally snowy month of June, so the face was quicker than normal.We were able to move together until the steep midsection and pitched it out from there.On this day, June 21 2008, we had one of the most beautiful summit days ever in the alps–no wind, no clouds, sunny and warm. www.high-alpinel.com
