I’m making a list & checking it twice. Here I show most of the gear that I’m bringing on an upcoming annual trip. This is not intended as a backpacking checklist, more as a hybrid between backpacking & car camping. Take care

@mrsdjsdj Thanks for watching, great minds think alike

Thanks, great video. You have a good set of gear. Got the quarter dome myself (the older style) I have no problem using it with me and my son. And the “mini tripod camp chair” and the Flash pack. We really have a lot of gear in common. Thanks for uploading.

You have a great channel! Keep it going!

  • CampfireTalk says:

@USNERDOC No doubt DOC, but I opted for the primitive look with my pointer : )

  • USNERDOC says:

PS – A proper pointer stick should be gently de-barked with a Spyderco Delica and duracoted with a woodland pattern ;-)

I love your channel and dig your videos! CFT is for sure one of the coolest YT channels and one of my favorites. I’ve enjoyed the trip work-up and am anxious to see footage from the trip . . . very cool of you taking us along for the adventure.

I like your layout and organized review of gear of the trip. Cool points to note: Boy Scouts, Easter Mountain Sports (EMS) Gear, Gorilla Pod, Gen 4 G19, Patagonia Swim Sorts and rum for cooking & sipping!

Hey man! I love your vids, but you don’t want to challange me to a game of tetris! :)

  • MahaloMoFo says:

@Cr0cket20 +1 on the rum review, lol.

  • Cr0cket20 says:

@CampfireTalk I would like to see a review of the rum after it’s all consumed. That would be funny.

  • CampfireTalk says:

@hinckleypoland I may even bring that stick with me, Thanks brother HP stay safe out there & try to stay cool in all this heat.

  • CampfireTalk says:

@TNPviewer It takes time to build up to a decent system of gear. One good thing about taking time to get new gear is it gives you time to research & watch for clearance sales.

  • CampfireTalk says:

@hikinguphigh I’m not sure, I just grab a small can from the hardware store. The good thing about wd-40 is that it does come in different sizes.

  • hinckleypoland says:

Very nice CT. I wish you lots of fun. Love the gear list and the stick. Be safe my friend.

  • TNPviewer says:

I really like your starting intro bro, it gets the mood going, I wish I had the money to go on a shopping spree for gear and kit item,

  • hikinguphigh says:

wot ml wd 40 can is that

  • CampfireTalk says:

    @MahaloMoFo : ) that’s what I call a high value pointing instrument! Thanks MahaloMoFo
